Stolen point at artifact show in Clemmons NC today.

I went to the Artifact show today in Clemmons NC and one of the guys had a super Savannah River point stolen. I didn't see it or know which vendor, but it was a $1400 point. Damn shame these guys offer a free viewing of there collections and some A-hole off the street rips them off. Keep an eye out for a museum quality Savannah River point being for sell.

Stuff like that makes you paranoid when you are displaying or selling at shows. I kept looking back at my setup at that show and making sure nothing was gone. It's not the first time things have turned up missing at a show I've attended. It's a real shame.

That's a shame, a Sav. River worth $1400 had to have been an incredible piece. I think displayed in a frame under glass is the only way to go at shows, jmo.

It had to be a freakin' sho'nuff smoker. I didn't think a Savannah River existed that was worth $1400!

What a low life. Hopefully the guy that stole it gets what's due him.

Hopefully he tripped and fell in the parking lot and ran it in his neck. Now that would be karma.

Even Sam's club keeps the expensive stuff behind locked glass. Hope he had some good pics of it, cause if its that nice it will turn up...somewhere down the road. Sites like this will help.

Sucks. I took a few copies of my thesis to give to some people in the field and to some of the people I interviewed to the Temple show. I set two out to generate some conversation and someone walked off with one. The thing that pissed me off is that I might have given it to them, or sold it to them at cost, had they asked me. I hope the guy finds the point. Raymond
