Ever found one from your vehicle?

I found one decent Gary about 2 1/2 inches while looking out the truck driver door window.
I got a cell phone call and pulled over on the edge of a river valley bluff where a dirt road started, and while I was talking I looked at the ground and there it was waiting for me.

I had a local friend - collector who found a real nice white Scottsbluff on a red clay bank while driving about 35mph. I find myself looking at dirt even while doing 60 ever since he told me that story.

I found one two years ago on riding my 4 wheeler. My cousin and I rode my atv in before daylight and I spotted something shining in the moonlight. I never said a word and we went on to our treestands. On our way back through I just stopped, leaned down and picked it up and took off again like it was no big deal. Think it kind of ticked my cousin off.

I was riding my four-wheeler several years ago on an old logging road and found the back half of a dovetail. I ended up going back to that trail several times and found a few good points on it.

Ha! Yep! Last week, I dove off the back of a four-wheeler because I was worried I'd lose it if I took my eyes off the darn thing.

I had a spot years ago where the farmer would let us drive right down to the field and park. Where we parked was right beside the edge of the site, which was a huge Ft Ancient village site and a buddy and I had just pulled up to the spot and I looked out the window and spotted a nice white Triangle not 4 feet from his front tire. Needless to say we had a very good day finding over 40 good Triangles each that day and some Beads and Pendants as well.

I found 2 good points driving! One in my excursion feeding cattle, the second a nice serrated triangle driving 30 mph on a Polaris ranger javelina hunting! I was pumped up to say the least!
