Does anyone remember?

does anyone remember When I said one of our farmers got mad at us for digging a small hole and told us not to come back?? Well I talked to the farmhand yesterday and he informed me that the farmer decided to let a group of college kids from california do an archealogical dig so now they are digging 4 - 6foot by 6 foot holes ?? I cant believe that I thought he disliked the archies more than us because the last time archies dug at his property he got mad because thier holes were huge! Hopefully he will give us permission this fall. I think he may have just been mad because it was at the beginning of planting season and he was probably realizing how much chemicals and gas and everything has increased in price! I hope!!! wish me luck for when I ask to hunt again. Oh and the archie that was running the dig gave us a nice little tour of what they were doing they had one hole marked with 4 post holes but they hadnt found anything yet. It was only their second day working and they were only about 16 inches deep. I would be willing to bet that within 2 days they start finding some neat stuff. I cant wait to see what they found Ohh and we stopped at another farm where I always ask permission even though he wont let us hunt because he hunts it . And he showed us a very very nice museum quality half groove axe that he found this year.
