What is the print date? What a cool peek into the past....And what an amazing look into some great collections with commentary that seems so casually underplayed given what is represented

The Columbia River frame is from the Ernie Cowels collection and has been dubbed the "star frame". It was for sale, but the price was a little higher. Here is a link to a PDF with some color pics of the collection.

Just a tad more pricey

I heard the Cowles collection sold recently...My parents neighbor was a family friend and grew up in eastern Wash...She told my mom 1.7 mill and mentioned Cowles by name...Could be? Dunno.

Yeah, just a tad. It is still listed as if it is for sale, but I have no idea if it has sold. It is just a tad out of my price range too. My Grandmother often told me I had Champaign taste on a beer budget, she was right.
