Far West - Archaeological Societies and Association Newsletters - Leads and Info?

I'm always on the look out for older monthly newsletters that were put out by the old regional archaeological groups here in the Northwest. These newsletters contain a wealth of information that can not be found in print anywhere else. Here is my list of known regional newsletters:
  • Oregon Archaeological Society, Newsletter Screenings - Newsletter years 1952 to current: Covered the Columbia River, Oregon Desert regions. The group is still active, but no longer a collectors group.
  • Mid-Columbia Archaeological Society Newsletter - Hard to find, Newsletter years late 1950s to 1970s: Covered the Columbia Plateau region. The group is disbanded
  • Lewis and Clark Archaeological Society Newsletter - Hard to find, Newsletter years late 1971 to 1973: Covered the Columbia River, Oregon Desert regions. The group is disbanded
  • Great Basin Natural History Association, Newsletter Rimrock Register - Newsletter years late 1970s to 1990s: Covered the Great Basin region. The group is disbanded.
Please post any information you have about known archaeological groups who put out a newsletter. I like to learn if there are more Association/Society out there to keep an eye open for

It isn't a newsletter, but I have a book on crescents published by TULARG in 2010.

I couldn't provide a link to my search results, but if you copy the following text and paste in the keyword search box it should work.

homestyle - it sounds like you do a fair bit of reading. I'll be looking forward to meeting up with you next month. We can sit down to talk shop and compare notes.

Trask - If you run across newsletters from these groups (Ebay sometimes has them) - snach them up. The information the older newsletters contain is priceless. I believe OAS still sell on their website the early years of Screenings, Publication No. 10 (covers 1951 - 1955). The others groups I list are tough to find, but they do come-up once in a while.

Yes I do, when I can find reading material. Thanks for the tip on Screenings. I'm looking forward to getting together too!

Here is a link to some newsletters that can be purchased called Diggers Digest published by the Northwestern Archaeological Society in the 1960's.
