Weirdest thing you've found while hunting.

I know this has been brought up before, but with all the new members I thought I would bring it up again. I also wanted to do it because of what I found the other day.
My buddy, and I were hunting the shores of a lake when we came across a see through plastic tote with a lid on it. It was partially buried in the sand, and you could see a bunch of what turned out to be hay straw, but almost looked like weed. We were kind of leery about opening it up to see what was inside. Needless to say, curiosity got the best of me. I took the lid off, and there was a folded up note laying on top of the straw inside. I opened the note and in a small childs handwriting it read " I love you, Kyle. Hop Hop."
Turns outs some kids bunny died and he placed it in a towel inside this tote, and buried it in the sand dunes along this lake. It didn't stink at all, but we did notice maggots in the bottom. By far it is the strangest thing I have found to date.

That rabbit must have been special to the little guy
I was on a dirt road near Barstow, Ca. and came across this, and it was sitting upright in the sand, I spotted while I was driving. Don't know why someone would leave such a thing, but it looks nice on my mantle!!!Name: CAM_0986.jpg

Why does that bring back very distant memories of the Brady Bunch?

A little pile of debitage I'd left at the end of a row the last time . . . and a fox or a raccoon had pooped on.

Territorial little buggers.
