Tool someone showed me

The guy at one of the places we go kayaking found this a few years back. In the Bastrop County, TX area. It was really cool, I am glad that he remembered I was interested and took the time to get it out and show it to me. I wish I had taken the time to take better pictures too, but we were with a group and they were waiting for me.

What do you think they chopped with it? Do you think maybe it was some kind of hoe? Or bones? And it looks like Edwards flint to me? lol But hey, I am such a newbie.........

I hunt in Bastrop County, nice big chopper no doubt! Used for multiple tasks, some you already mentioned! We find them alot over here, material could also be Colorado River Gravel!!! Nice example!
