Arrowhead Hunting near Cadiz, KY

My Aunt and Uncle just purchased a vacation home near Cadiz, KY. They mentioned that I artifact hunted, and their neighbor said their was a group of guys who go hunting on the Paducah <---(?) River. Anyone on here know anything about that river, or decent spots around there to go hunting. Or are you part of the group of guys. I'm not asking to hunt with you, just want to know further info. They own a house right on the river.

Ote I live in kentucky, and as far as I know there is no Paducah river. The little river runs thru Cadiz, and down in that area there have been some nice pieces found.I would say anywhere in that area would be good for finding artifacts.

Those guys might be hunting the Ohio River in Paducah.

Cadiz is near Lake Barkley aka Cumberland River.

Thats my bad then. Thought it was called the Paducah river Fail me! It is the river that runs through Cadiz. I know that they lower the water level a few times a year. Does this sound right?

Alright you are correct its the little lake by Lake Barkley Resort the inlet closest to Cadiz.
