1st annual MacNerch Expedition

The first annual MacNerch Expedition is getting under way. Four days of camping, head hunting and fishing. Neralich is making the long trip down as I am writing. We plan on putting a lot of miles on the yaks in Missouri and Oklahoma. I'd say we would try the flint hills of Ks, but knowing Neralich, we will get stuck digging one hole all weekend.

We will try to post finds and pics over the next four days.

Oklahoma is ok, it's Arkansas and their dueling banjos that you have to worry about!

Good luck on your excursion fellas! Looking forward to the reports.

Wow, sounds like you guys are gonna have a blast. I'm with Neralich, if you find a good spot, why leave? I love digging for em, it's my favorite way. It's tough finding new spots to dig though. I look forward to you guys posting while you're out and about.

Thanks for the good luck from ya'll. Seems like a lot of you have had awesome trips when others on the site wished good luck. We were hoping that luck would rub off on us this trip.

We had a couple of hours to take the yaks out this evening to scout for tomorrow. Neralich walked 20 feet from the yak and picked up a broke. Found a few flakes, but nothing to go back to that spot for.

Nearly perfect camping weather tonight. Looking forward to tomorrow morning's breakfast of taters mixed with onion, peppers, eggs, ham and cheese washed down with a huge cup of hot, black coffee.

Scoggins, that would be a blast.
