Oregon Hot Spots?
I'm wondering if anyone knows any good places to go in Oregon (I'm in Portland, but would be willing to do some driving) that are productive.
And/or, I'd love to know if someone has productive private property on which they would give me permission to surface hunt! |

Okay, thank you! I'm new to the site (but not to hunting!) so I'm just feeling my way around so far.

Okay, I give up... I looked everywhere on the homepage (even went to "last") and don't see anything resembling "Who's Who in the Artifact Zoo". It's probably right under my nose, but I swear I don't find it, even in a site search! Any other hints as to its whereabouts?

Welcome, Oregon has some great stuff! Best advice I can give you is to find a spot of your own and then you can swap spots with other Oregonians. Any tributary off the Willamette wil be a good place to start. Best of luck to you

Okay, well, I can hear boats on the Willamette from my house, and the Clackamas and Tualatin are about ten minutes away. Maybe I'll give them a shot while the weather's holding!

Markus Lives out that way too..I know he's done some leg work on the Clackamas and Sandy but it sounds like it's tough to find anything not developed..Johns landing was probably loaded with camps but good luck finding anything that resembles huntable gravel.

The Tualatin could be a different story..I've spent time around Sherwood and there is some very Huntable looking ground along the river and in the plowed fields.
A Kayak would make things interesting
