If an arrowhead has almost no mineralization, could it be indication of a fake or a recently made one?

It depends on other stuff, like patina, correct flaking for the type, material, and a few other things I'm probably forgetting.

It can be, however different soil applies different properties. There are few iron deposits on point in my area because of the lack of iron in the soil. I've seen south western artifacts that look as fresh as the day they were made.

A little hand held 10 X Jewelers loop will help.Look for Fresh Crushing to the stone on fakes.
Re chips will show a Different Patina in these areas////c
