My wife and I read it last spring. Great book indeed.

Yes I am, at least I’m hoping so.
I’m thinking Standford and Bradley will provide some
information that has not been previously released.

“Irrefutable evidence?” Evidence that can’t be disputed concerning a Solutrean-Clovis link …how about
a datable cache found along the east coast containing Solutrean style points, that would help .

Being a part time book re seller, I am always shopping the thrift stores and such for books. Every now and then, I find a gem for myself. This is my latest find. 500 pages of great information. Pretty cool!

A cache of older fluted points in Siberia or even South America might 'irrefute' otherwise irrefutable evidence. A better understanding of where the Solutrean came from might change things, even a clarification of the existence of 'Old Clovis' & 'New Clovis' could alter views and theories.

Whatever the newest evidence might show, I think all the researchers (except Meltzer) believe there were multiple migrations -- folks came and went from almost every point of the compass. It's going to take a lot of time, research, and luck to parse it all out.

Agreed all the way....and I hope some members our community realize that were it not for the perceived evil archies we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I've got a lot of publications but my all time two favorites are: "Excavations at Baker Cave,Val Verde County, Texas" By James H. Word and Charles L. Douglas, Bulletin# 16 Texas Memorial Museum 1970. and "Bonfire Shelter: A Stratefied Bison Kill Site, Val Verde County, Texas" by David S. Dibble and Dessamae Lorrain, Bulletin# 1 Texas Memorial Museum 1968. I've read and reread these publications so many times that I've had to rebind them both! The work and thought that went into these was awesome and inspiring!
