tn cumberland base
Wanted to show this cumberland base I found about 5 years ago along hwy 96 in franklin, tn. There is a double mound about 100 yards away and they were doing some construction to build some apartments. Found this fluted cumberland base along with a nice E-notched big sandy. Both breaks on the point are fresh. Darn!!!![ATTACH]

That would have been a killer. What type of flint is that ? Pretty wild stuff.

Some people call it the material crab orchard or tyrone. I'm not for sure but I believe it is found mainly in kentucky.
