Needle tips
Was pickin out some "blunts" for Kents thread and came across some of my points with needle tips. These have always intrigued me as to what purpose they may have served. These examples are from Jefferson County, Missouri and all from the same site (early woodland/hopewell site)

Anybody got any points with needle tips??

heres acouple pointy ones the first is obviously resharpened , i always wondered if the second was made that way on purpos and why

Here's some pictures of some of my Points with needle tips. Some of those Triangle Points have very sharp needle tips on them. The last one is a Bulverde from Texas.

Here's a few more.

They are in order:
Texas - Castroville or Marshall. Not sure which.
Texas - Frio
Mississippi - 3 Triangles at the bottom
Missouri - Cahokia Point
Missouri - Stemmed Point, maybe Wabuesa
Missouri - Stemmed Point
Oklahoma - 3 Stemmed Points on top right.
