Moving to East Texas in May

I'm moving to East Texas(Lindale Area) in May because of a better Employment opportunity and need to start making my artifact hunting connections now. I'm use to getting out and just walking pastures and fields any time that i need to escape the daily rigor of my job. I told my wife that i don't know what I'm going to do without that luxury. Any help would be appreciated.

Txheadhunter, I dont have a boat yet because there aren't alot of lakes in west Texas, but my wife knows that's a priority on the list as soon as we get out there. Are there some pretty good sites out there?

If y'all ever came to west Texas I have access to a few places, one of my favorites is laguna Sabinas. Thanks for the info and looking forward to meeting y'all.
