DeSoto's Red Devil/Indians

Thought this was cool. If DeSoto's artists had only had a digital camera with them on their journey

I remember reading that by the time Europeans got back around to where De Soto had visited the Indians (if you can call killing and attacking visiting) the mound builders were no where to be found and the mounds were compleetly abandoned, the Indiginous populations having been devestated by European introduced diseases. Nice little red devil too!
