Axe and granite stones...

Here are some of my granite stones. 1 is 1/2 of a bannerstone. The biggest piece is a doozy! Hard to believe how big it really is!! Then, there is also my full groove axe from a few years back. It isn't granite... but really nice. I found a couple other broken axes, but that was the lonesome intact one so far.

That "doozy" a maul maybe?

Killer axe, nice uniform and smooth,,,bet that one was a thrill finding!!!

It's sort of stubby, so I'm gonna guess around 4 - 4 1/2 inches on the axe.

Not really sure, but I figure they used the ground n' pound method on grains... The bottom side it is resting on shows that what it might of been used for... Crush stuff up maybe...
