My 2011 Personal Finds

I had a pretty good year in 2011. I found a killer Clovis, a Clay Trade Pipe, another Bone Flute/Whistle, lots of Beads, and a few really nice Points. I was very happy with my finds this year considering that it rained so much this past Spring the farmers didn't get in the fields until very late May to mid June and we didn't have many places to hunt and then this Fall has been the same and quite a few fields still have unharvested crops in them right now. The Ft Ancient site was good to me as always and the river gave up some nice ones as well.

Some very memorable finds there for sure. Not to mention your bucket-lister Clovis. That one has got to be a special thrill to be able to actually handle. The material on it is also top-notch. Hope 2012 is just as good or even better for you!

Last, but not least, the other Bone Flute/Whistle. It's broke through the 3rd hole but still whistles very nicely.

I also acquired quite a few nice pieces this past year for my States Collection, but that would take way to many posts to show them all.

Really nice year Steve, can't beat that Clovis, but the Thebes is a really nice piece as well.
