A couple favorite finds 2011

Found on the same gravel bar about a mile from the house. Can't wait to get back there this Spring. Had alot of rain lately and the bar is under water right now.

Great looking finds and from complete opposite age groups. The E-Notch is a killer and from the Early Archaic and the other piece looks to be a Ft Ancient Knife from the Late Woodland.

The black point has some nice edge work that is hard to get a good picture of, and the E-Notch has alot of bevel on each left face. Found them both on different days but only 10 feet apart. I heard from the land owners that there was a camp up-stream. You can bet i will be hunting alot more in this area soon.
