Neralich about Rhyolite... (pics)

Jason, does any of these look like that Rhyolite material you were talking about. Maybe the deep purple colored stuff w/ white specs/shavings looking... rocks.

I see 3 peices in the middle row that for sure is (3 on right side of middle row)! You nailed it with the white specs/shavings look! Just like Burlington or anything else, the material has different grades/qualities. I've seen some of the higher quality material with little to no specs in it. I rarely; if ever find it being lustrous,,when so it's usually because I was eating potato chips before handling Usually it's dull and opaque.

BTW, Is that half a killer discoidal I'm seeing??

Gotcha! Yeah I was thinking those 3 you mentioned were Rhyolite for sure. A couple of those were from down towards the Arkansas line... my other spot, but it is in MO still.

Yes, that is a green granite discodial half, found pretty much 1 year to date. A shame it's broken though. Just a month ago, I found a tad bit of the base of a broken green granite Axe.
