One of those "no brainer" pieces ;)
Im not into pottery very much, but I have seen this piece for years now and made the guy an offer for it, its a killer display piece, this thing just says ancient all over it!
I would say if i can piece the rest together i will only be missing 10-15% which would be the rim area. Im sure i cant even do that because its hard enough to piece black and white geometrics lol. The old owner had this piece for around 30 years and when he got bored he said he would piece it back. Im probally going with Jornada Mogollon with this one. It was excavated from a pithouse which had collapsed and burned , its very common for that to happen in this area. You can tell the pot was whole when the house colapsed from the differnt patina/burnmarks on it. A awesome piece

Very cool piece! Hard to fit in missing pieces though once you have most of it glued together like that. I would personally soak it in acetone to dissolve the glue or water if it's water based glue, and then start over with the glueing so that you don't have to try and fit pieces into a hole. Great looking piece!
