What can you tell me about this peice...

I posted pictures of this point a little over a year ago but would like to know what everyone thinks about it. I did have it authenticated and will share that information after some discussion, but would really like all your views on it. It was found protruding out of a very large steep wash out on Bryant Creek in Missouri in the spring of 2010. About a quarter of an inch of the tip was poking out and I had strategically tip-toed across a very small ledge approximately 60 or so yards to discover it. I originally thought cool looks like a nice tip only to discover more than a tip!!! Only piece I found that day, but what a piece it is!!!

Don't know about the type, the one side looks fresh and crispy.

Very Nice artifact Mr. Dickerson.
Great Bulls eye in the material.
If it is Beveled on one side of Each face I would Think St. Charles on the type.
What did the authenticator say?/////c

I a little confused "both sides beveled" left to right or front and back?

Resembles a Godar, but IIRC Godar points have the notches going straight in and not curved up.

On the St Charles type Resharpened examples will be beveled on one side of each face,,,Down the long axis of the blade edge.
Also on this type,,, Bases are ground and can be fractured on both sides of the base or center notched on some examples found in Ohio. This aspect of your artifact really got my attention////c
