River
The Ohio has been to high to hunt since before Christmas, so I thought I'd post a couple finds from earlier. The first is from the Palmer/Amos site and is made out of a chert the locals refer to as desert camo. The exhausted point is made of a high quality black material and was found where I piked up the majority of Pentagonal shaped points in my collection. Thanks for looking!

Nice looking finds. The Ohio River here in my area has ben to high to hunt since around Halloween or a little bit before that. They usually raise the water level below the dam in the winter to prevent freezing and this year they started a lot earlier then usual. It may be May or June before it gets low enough here in Scioto county to get back on the beaches.

Couple a sweet WV points. Those Palmer / Amos early archaics are some of my favorites. Lets go Mountaineers. Solid bowl win and bball team is looking good as well.
