Thank you for the opportunity I just wish I could have had more time away from work. It would have been great to have gone more than once.
If you ever get lucky enough to stumble up on a deal like this again and need an extra digger I would make time to help you out.

There were indeed the lucky ones there. Myself and two friends were not in that group, but it was fun too see what little did come out on Saturday. It was also pleasurable to meet the few people I was able to identify. Especially Mark and his son, as well as a few others. I did get to see a digger next to us pull out a (broken) Early Triangular. I wish I would have met more people though. Needless to say it was a free-for-all and not everyone was in the mood to chat.
Thanks Jeff for your kind effort. |

Yes, thanks Jeff! I found brokes, but meeting everyone was well worth it! I saw some killer stuff come out, no doubt!

My wife and I went out there today and just walked the place to see how the construction has leveled the place. We walked around a bit and ... I'll be damned if my wife didn't find another one!
Please correct me if I'm wrong - I'm calling it a Uvalde. About an inch and a half long. Found up close to the front of the place near the wagon. About a centimeter was sticking straight up out of the ground in the dirt used to build up the road near the wall. If it only had that one missing ear. Oddly enough, it's not broken. It's worked all the way around where the ear should be.

Thanks so much bro! Ill return the favor anytime. I'm glad I was one of the first to make it out there. I found some killers so it was well worth it!

Thank you Jeff for all the hospitality while me and Jr. were up there.
I really enjoyed it up in the hill country. Your lucky to be in that area of Texas. Just give me a call when your ready to hunt in the piney woods. |
