Ango blade!

This was shown to me yesterday by my hunting partner! I might trade for this piece! First time ever! And I will! It has oblique flaking and an Ango shape! I'm pretty sure it is, just need some other opinions! An old man that has a big collection in Williamson/Lee County Tx, gave it to him for work he did! Let me know what y'all think! I'm gonna try to make a trade on Sunday!

That's an interesting piece.Sure has that look.I say go for it if he doesn't want too much in trade.

I'm not seeing the Oblique flaking, but it looks early and authentic, so if the trade is right go for it.

Charlie
I would look at the beveling and some grinding on the base./jmo
It looks Kinda rough but I think it is an Angostura.
Good Luck////c

It's rough and stacked up! The material is very tough lookin! JR, I'll get better pics of flaking, it's there, just hard to see! Evan, I'll get you a side shot too! Dave, I'm 90% sure it is, you are correct, it's been used! I think it's a huge Angostura for this area! The material made it rougher looking, but sure is pretty! You know how I like those Ango variants! I'll get better pics today, hopefully!
