Colorful flakes

Checked out a small ridge overlooking our property last week and found tons of flake debitage, a few broken points and a few hardstone pieces. I only had about an hour to hunt, hopefully with more time I can find a few unbroken points. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the comments guys. Most of the material is Quartzite, bottom left is heat treated Jasper, bottom right is more Jasper and top right is a Chalcedony pebble. Thanks again.

If you find one made out of that jasper it will be a nice one.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I've only found a few pieces made with the heat treated Jasper, here is a broken piece I found on the edge of our driveway.

Those are some promising finds, love the Va. jasper and lithics. Did you get a chance to go through the dirt pile over the weekend? Weather was pretty rough down here, good surface hunting weather though.

Thanks Ryan. We had about an inch of snow and ice Saturday morning so I didn't mess with the pile. Hoping you will get a chance to bring you're sifter up before I mess with it again. Thanks.
