New frames

The slow transition from rikers to wood frames continues. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would. They are all from the Great Basin. A lot of these are just average, many with dings. But those ones need some love too.

Great looking trays Floyd. Some very nice looking artifacts in those.

I too have been slowly but surely transitioning from Rikers to Wood Trays. It's a very expensive venture, but well worth the eye pleasing results.

I've gotten out of wood frames and went to the flat file cabinets (with drawers.) I still have some better pieces in frames which mostly stay in the safe, but for the most part mine are in drawers. Can't beat the access to pieces, and the ability to really keep site collections together. I have about 800 pieces (mostly flakes) from my fluted point site in a single drawer.

The problem with a couple of sets of cabinets is that they make a big collection look small. I'm emptying boxes of commons, tools and brokens that I haven't opened in years, it's been kind of fun filling them over the last year or so.

I love the four corners of the bottom frame, I am jealous of those who get to find paleo crescents.

Nice, I'm liking all those fine drills and perfs up top but ol' candy stripes steals the show.
