River Hunting SW desert area

Im used to , flats , hills, and mountain hunting never river. I would love to learn any tips in particular to hunting the "border river " . Anyone hunt this that would like to share, it would be appreciated , post or pm , or call . Im very interested in it

If it was me I would be every careful around that "border river" in SW Texas. Much to close to the drug cartels in Mexico for me. Isn't that the area where they find all the decapitated bodies?

I literally live a stones throw away from Juarez MX. Now rated the most violent city in the world. When im out hunting i see more Border Patrol agents than you would see farmers in your area lol

If you go to Home - El Paso Times and search Juarez, it gives you an idea how bad it is.
The police cant even investigate the deaths The police and federal police wear face masks so they cant be recongnised and have thier families hunted down. its bad
