Are you digging or surface hunting? Those are some very nice finds.

Those are dug. I do some surface hunting on occasion. We really don't have a lot of exposed sites here in the Ozarks. Most of the hunting, if you're not digging, is relegated to hunting river and creek banks. Which is nice for a good hike and the here and there find. But if you want to find the good stuff, you gotta dig!

That hole or site is paying off quite nicely for you.

Yeah. My hunting buddy stumbled on to it. Between the 2 of us we've found about 300+ wholes over the last 10 months. It's great, but it's going to ruin my buddy. He just started looking about a year and a half ago. I have reminded him time and again that it is NOT normal to find 5-15 wholes every time you go look!

Yeah, he's kind of coming to the realization of how it normally works. We have a spot on the Kings river we hit. He thinks it stinks when we go there, because we normally only find one or two, if that when we go there. I told him that's the norm. I think he's coming around to the idea that the place were looking now is a once in a lifetime type of place. He just got lucky and lucked onto it at the beginning of the hobby, and not 20 years into it like myself.
