My best flint

Here's a pic of a frame of most of my best flint. The Morse and Stanfield blade are about 6-1/2" long for reference. The interesting thing is that I've acquired all but two of these pieces in 2011. I guess I've been focusing a little more on flint recently. A couple of the pieces I got from members of Arrowheadology also.

That blade is actually from Pulaski County, Illinois. I've been told the material it's made of is Mounds Gravel. I've never really seen the material before. I'm with you though, I've always loved that blade and it's super well made. Thanks for the comments.

Amazingly cool relics. I don't think the picture does the doves justice though, those two center pieces are two of the best examples of the type I've ever seen.
