soap stone artifact

i have this piece of soap stone aprox 1 1/2"x1" with a groove worn in it , i dont know if an ancient would of used soap stone for a shaft straitner but thats what it looks like to me, we have three soapstone quarries in san diego two are a green color one is a reddish color , i have never cleaned this piece but i assume it is the green colored stone based on where i found it, although plain . it is an interesting piece to ponder, i have pondered it long enough and am willing to let it go to anyone interested in soap stone artifacts. will trade for something that has the obvious hand of man on it ,( for pondering purposes only of course, )
