EBay is a funny place sometimes . . .

After two completely dismal months, this week I sold over half of my 29 item listing and made a decent amount of money for a change! On top of that, they were ALL those "field grade" pieces I get teased about - not one of my nicer items sold!! Anyway, here are a few new listings as well as some of the relists from last time around. Someone really needs to take that Dovetail home!!!

It's a killer piece, and 100$ authentic. Don't know why it has not picked up any bids, this is the 3rd time I've listed it. You can probably get it for the opening bid.

First of the month. People get their checks and have a little cash to spare. Hence, you sold some artifacts.

At least that's my guess.

Just a thought, but have you considered a longer return period? Less than 14 days is a red flag to many.

I usually offer 30 days, with a lifetime guarantee of authenticity. If someone isn't happy with a purchase, I always make it right. I've actually had very few returns over the years since I started this, and not one negative feedback.

Indiana,
What you are seeing is a wierd thing that happens this time of year for me too. I can go all summer without making 10 sales and then in a week all that changes and I'll about sell out my enitire inventory. There are a few of us who have noticed it, it's almost like it's something in the air. Wierd though I know. Scott

As a seldom buyers input (except in Mr. Lewis' eyes, thanks for all the great pieces by the way). Ebay 'is' a crazy place, in the last week or so, points of any type, are selling for $10-$15 dollars more and the bidders on points have almost doubled. Maybe I am just noticing this because I am looking for a certain type of point, but auctions that a month ago I would have won are going for at least $10 more now. Just a buyers perspective.

Tonight was a lot slower - I sold maybe 7 items, all cheap stuff. I don't know why NO ONE is bidding on my higher end pieces, but I'm glad they like the field grades!
