Not sure how many threads need to be started about these books either.

Mr. L.M. Abbott

Athenspoints, did you happen to know L.M. Abbott from Athens? L.M. had a sizeable collection of artifacts, nice guy. I'm sure that he has passed on, he was up in age the last time I visited with him back in the 80's.

My apologies to everyone for missusing or overusing the Buy, Sell and Trade Forum.

In addition to my love and enthusiasm for Artifact collection and study, unfortunately, I have an emergency need requiring me to sell much of my collection. My multiple posts were just meant to be updates on price reductions for those interested; I really didn't mean to let my urgency to sell and sincere intention just to remind our members of a really good deal, cause any irritation, make my efforts "over-the-top" or distract attention from other members' important Buy, Sell or Trade efforts.

I will now keep my posting to a minimum, negate any follow-ups and try not to allow my urgency to sell bleed through any of my sell listing posts in the Buy-Sell-Trade Form.

Again, sorry for the disruption my postings may have caused anyone. Thanks for the correction!

Jonnny,

I have heard of L.M. Abbott but I did not know him. Seems like I ran across a listing recently about an estate sale with his artifacts ( Caddo ) being offered. Do you know if he had a large Caddo Culture Collection?

Athena, keep posting. You posted your listing in the proper area, aren't selling questionable relics, I don't see any problems with your posts.

Btw, they are good books. I got lucky and got the books at an auction dirt cheap, they aren't as nice as your set but they are great books to have.

Agreed, you didn't do anything wrong and I am sure a majority of us need some ca$h. Sorry it has come to such personal sacrifice and I wish you good luck.

Agree, also.
I enjoy looking through the Buy, Sell and Trade, here.
Happy to hear about updates and price reductions.

Athens, it might help if you threw a few quick, cheap items on eBay to get your feedback score started.
Then follow with the pricier items.
Gives people more confidence to place bids.

Good luck !
