Big clovis for sale

If any of you guys are interested in owning a huge clovis and a restoration project all in one shot I have the point for you. I got this piece in the last collection that I bought that had frames from all over the globe and individual pieces from everywhere too. THE BAD NEWS FIRST- It is RECHIPPED on the tip and base. The tip has around a half inch on one edge and about an inch and a half on the other edge. the base has been rechipped only on the concave edge from ear to ear roughly 1/4" up on it. THE GOOD NEWS is that the flute is original and that the piece measures in at just a hair shy of 6"!!! It is made of Dover chert and was found in Clarksville TN Ex- Floyd Schryver. I am asking $300 for it, please ask questions!! It is a shame that this piece is rechipped, especially for me because of the value I placed on the piece in the collection. I am for sure taking a hit on this one but I take it in stride and a huge lesson learned!! (never count on anything being for sure when you're buying from pictures) With restoration I feel this is center piece.

I also still have a few pieces from this collection left on my website Miami Valley Artifacts including a nice hell gap, some TX pieces and some Midwest pieces too.

** Disclaimer - It is my policy to never sell rechipped pieces, but this one is one that I will make an exception on because 90%+ of it is original and it would make a super display piece if restored**

Nobody is interested in restoring this big old guy? I thought somebody would like it, I may have it restored my self just to see what it would have looked like.
