Any baseball card collectors out there? Trade?

Hey, I've been thinking about putting some nice baseball cards on the fleabay... But before I do that, are there any artifact collectors that would be interested in what I have toward a possible artifact trade? Many of them are encased in PSA graded holders. Highlights include signed rookie cards of Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly and Ken Griffey Jr. I've also got Derek Jeter's rookie card (1993 Upper Deck SP).

Shoot me an email and let me know. I can send a list and scan images.

Email me direct @ murraysha@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Shane

You too huh! I started collecting in 1968 and lived in a store so I accumulated over 400,000 cards. When I found out my wife was pregnant I had a fire sale! 1/4 of the "spare" bedroom was cards. Market on them is all but dead now. When my shop went under I put a 58-59 and 69 Mantle on auction and got under a grand. The 59 was Beckett graded 8.5.

All went to hell with the internet. That and they started printing a gazillion cards, got to the point where there more more special and limited edition cards than there were regular ones I think. Good news is that kids still love putting them on the spokes of their bikes. Why doesn't becket adjust their prices to reflect reality?

Can't agree with you two more! Most of my for trade are from around 1983 - 1993 and before the card industry exploded...

I still have "about" 10-15 thousand but very rarely buy any. I like old (pre-80) unopened but cant afford them anymore. I have HUNDREDS of my idol....Al Kaline! Almost every one except his rookie card.

You might do well on the signed ones but as you know, and everyone has said,... the market is just SO dead right now.

Unfortunate.

The chicken man! He ate chicken before EVERY game. He and Tony Gywen were masters of bat control.
