There is one on Fleabay right now for buy it now for $400. eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low pricesThats pretty damned steep but it is a nice point. I will keep my eye out here in Montana. I have several but they were hard earned so I would have to have an arm twist to part with one. Beautiful type of point though.

Yeah I know kinda silly. But a nice point none the less. I have seen good specimens for around $50. I think a good knife river or Yellowstone moss agate Avonlea could be one of the finest points in existence. JMOP. On that note I turned Bennetts Artifact auctions on to a big Montana collection not too long ago that should hit the auction block sometime this spring that had several sweet Avonlea's in it so keep your eye out.

You are a man after my own heart. Avonlea points are one of my favorite point types. I have 68 complete or very close to complete points and countless others that are missing a tip or ear. What kind of quality are you looking for? I may be willing to trade, but like Jamie said they are hard to let go of especially being from my father. All of mine were found by my father at a buffalo jump/kill site in northern Montana outside of Conrad. I am at work and only have a couple of photos here, but you can see a few examples of what I have. In the second photo some of the top two circles of points are not Avonlea and are from a different site. If you dont mind me asking, what has you interested in getting one? Thanks Kevin
