Also, funny you should mention Game Of Thrones. My son just turned me on to the HBO series after he downloaded the first 9 episodes and we watched them all Thursday and Friday. I am hooked now. That is Kent Westbrook's frame of effigy beads, I believe. I got to look at them a couple of weeks ago. They are archaic but not from the Poverty Point culture. That one does appear to be a dog effigy -- I asked that exactly question when I saw it -- but the others are hard to tell exactly what they are. Locusts, grasshoppers, but heavily stylized. Kent has others besides the ones in that cache. One that I know of came from Perry County AR.
