Flint ridge state park
Sorry for the short notice, but july 16th a national atl atl competition will be held at the state park. Chris Miller will be there knapping and arc. Bill Pickard will be there to id anything you have found. Show starts around 10.00am and ends ?

Sorry for the delay in answering. No i didnt take any pics. heck i dont even no how to post them if i had! The meet was kinda small maybe ten that i saw throwing, i did learn that the only regulation is that the dart cannot be greater then .75 inches in dia. and thats it. I did spend alot of time with Bill and Chris.
Some older people brought there collection in to have Bill check it out, kinda cool they had moved 5 times and kept them in a shoe box.
Chris had some kool lithics and nice points.
TV.4 did a special on the mounds and flint ridge, if you google nbc4i and then search for Marshall and Mindy you should be able to find all 3 short videos. In an advanced notice there will be an annual knappin at Flint Ridge fri.,sat. and sun of labor day weekend.
