Vbulletin message

Hi... Have just begun encountering a problem as I back out of any of the forums.... just as I click 'back' to leave a forum to go to the main forums list page, I get a message on the screen that prevents accessing the forums list without having to reenter the Arrowheadology website from scratch... the mssg reads;

Click in the little box when you sign in. That will keep you here, until you sign out.

it is most likely due to cookies. When you log in you haven't clicked the box to remember you as the user. Vbulletin wants you to log in every time you try and perform any kind of action. I am thinking it is a session cookie which only last the duration that you are logged in. I really think it has something to do with this and a glitch in Vbulletin.

Yep Session cookie ...click the box to remember you and stay logged in and it will go away.

Thanks Guys... I'll give it a shot... Interesting tho...I've never seen this before and I've never clicked the 'remember me' box before... I'll let you know, owoto...

Well, back to the drawing board... I logged out, then logged back in also clicking the 'remember me' button, and things seemed to improve with no more vBulletin messages...this was yesterday evening... Today, I entered the site, which did not ask me to log in - got the 'recognition' welcome back mssg - but, after entering the first thread catagory and backing out, I got the same vB mssg as I was trying to reenter the forum catagory list... What can I do now, guys? What does it mean by "the token has expired"...?

Are your preferences set up to accept cookies in your browser?

Yes... I did, however, list arrowheadology as an "always allow" for security/cookies... I've never had this problem until the other night, and I haven't put up any new programs or changed any settings (until just now)

Stillhad the problem after the changes...but, I rebooted the system and haven't had any probs since... Here'shoping...
