I post pics way larger than that all the time. There must be another problem. What format are they? Is there some software on your machine that is "protecting" you?
I'm not sure what the problem could be.
Tell us how you are trying to do it and we'll figure it out.

Those sizes per format are AFTER this website compresses them. This picture is a 2.117 Mega Byte JPEG picture (3264x2448)
The loader on this forum compressed it to 32.7 KBytes. It takes several seconds to load but it gets there just fine.
I am confused why some pictures won't load.

you are not alone!

I can post pics from my picture file directly from my computer, but it is impossible for me to post any of my edited closeups from photobucket, upon reducing them??

I reduce and edit all my pics on my own computer. If you use a Mac, Iphoto is great for this. If you use a PC, Microsoft picture manager or Paint work well too. I also use Photoshop but it is not standard software that comes with a PC. If you want to use Photobucket (I have in the past - it is great for videos) save the edited pic on you computer to post. Apparently some people don't like posting directly. I'm not sure why.

U should not have to resize using photobucket just set it up when you upload pics for 800x600.Then I just edit the lighting and other things.U should always have the forum links and codes below your picture.Using the 8x6 the pic comes out perfect for the forums
