We got hit pretty hard at my house, too! Spent 2-3 hour's yesterday pickin up tree limbs,lol..... Hoping like hell my creek's down enough to walk today. Checked it yesterday and it was up quite a bit. Gettin ready to head back to work and repair silt fence, fix a few newly sodded yards, and pump out 2 feet of water out of a hole dug for foundation.. Matter of fact, the foundation crew's waitin on me now to get the job done, so they can start forming up the walls, lol.. Gotta Buzz outta here.. Should have some pics to add later! Josh, hope you got a chainsaw and hope it didn't do too much damage!

Sure has been a year for bad storms! Happy to see you didn't get hit real hard...Missouri has had enough, I feel so sorry for everyone in the Joplin tornado....still hard to look at the pictures of it, just so sad!!! Joyce

Nerch, didn't you just clean out the gutters?

Joyce, believe it or not Joplin had/has a problem with over-generousity with the food/water. They ran out of storage for these items and helpful people became unhelpful by dropping their donate items off on curbs, making a bigger mess. Being from the midwest it has never surprised me how generous people can be. We do not need a federal government to get through our problems.

I was thinking the same of course. We've had alot of violent storms this year, record number of tornados and straight line wind storms. The lightning has been crazy this year. I saw one of those continuous strobe like storms earlier this month, nonstop flashing.
