Nice produce! With the heat we are having, everything here is barely growing let alone producing fruit. And then there's the pesky cutter ants that only come out late at night.

Thanks folks. Yes Dennis I've got a small greenhouse (12' x 12') but I didn't raise those in there. I bought 3 little 4-packs from Walmart and set them out at the end of March--bell, jalapeno and sweet bananna. That's gonna be the best of those peppers there. I'll make a few more but not nearly as many nor as healthy as I picked today. I got a little patch that's 10' x 50' that I try and raise a few veggies in every year. Been having to water it a lot lately because of lack of rain. Been making squash, onions, string beans, eggplant, tomatos and okra. Gonna have some pink-eyed purple hull peas ready this week.

Those are beauties Tdog! Are you going to be canning/preserving your salsa?

Thanks and yes I'll be putting it up in pint jars. I'll be using this recipe (more or less) but this is the basic one for medium heat...

1 gal Tomatoes diced
1 large Onion diced
1 large Bell Pepper diced
2 cups Fresh Jalapeno Peppers diced
1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro chopped
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Salt

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil; no more than 5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until peppers are tender and onions are clear. Adjust the amount of any ingredient to suit your taste.

Sounds great to me! I dabble in canning tomato sauce, dill pickles, and the occaisional salsa.
