It's been over 105 every day for so long I have forgotten.

This little guy comes by every day for a respite.

A few more degrees and he'll be fanning his nuts.

I saw a dog chasing a cat earlier and they were both walking. IT'S HOT!!

Yeah he does. But he comes by every day like that. At first I thought he might be sick. Apparently the concrete is cool on his tummy.

I was field hunting and I kept hearing the corn pop and the trees whistling for dogs. IT'S HOT!

This thread cracks me up. It's 107 today, heat index who knows. The truck was reading 111 degrees earlier. After 100 degrees it all feels too damn hot to me. Even with the air conditioning running non stop in the house it's reading 84. I'm glad I don't own a farm where I have to be out tending to the livestock.

It was 104 here at work when I got here at 5:30 pm, but it's not very humid so it's really not that bad. It's dropped to 90 now and it doesn't feel bad out at all to me. I checked the pool today and the water was close to 90 so I bet that feels real good. You might as well just take a bath. lol

According to what I just watched on the Weather Channel a little while ago this heat is supposed to linger in the middle of the country for quite some time while Florida and the northwest are experiencing cooler then normal temps. Maybe that tropical storm in the gulf will give some much needed rain and some relief from the heat in the south here in the next few days.
