SmokyHill, the price for pasture land varies a lot. Ted Turner bought the ranch that borders ours to the West and it went for $365 per acre that was 4 years ago. Ive heard some go as high as $700 per acre. So its no where near as high as what the farm land on the eastern part of the state sells for. If you ask the state though our ground must be priceless if you go by the amount of property tax we pay here
