I just got my answer back from FelinePeachy, the Moderator over on T-Net, and evidently the person that sent out the mass emails to everyone is the owner of the site. Not very professional in my opinion.

I certainly didn't sign up to get political spam and an invitation to a fight.

The main reason I still go there is because of larson1951's posts from his Mandan site. Steve is a great guy and we talk on the phone every now and then and have did two trades in the past year or so. The things he finds on his Mandan site are very similar to what I find on my Ft Ancient sites and we kind of bonded over the similarities in our artifacts. Other than that the site really isn't worh visiting much anymore.

Oh, and Frank "The Toolman" is on there as well. lol

I didn't even know I was a member there. I don't remember ever going there but:

The United States is in a dire, dysfunctional state. Please express your opinion here...

TreasureNet has been around for a long time, 15 yrs or so, and has been through a number of changes. I spent a lot of time there when I used to detect and dig more. They seem to have a lot of irons in the fire. Hope that doesn't happen here.
