Water
Domestic water supply Where does yours come from ? With the terrible drought out west I was thinking about water or lack of it while watering my garden. I have two wells with two separate storage and delivery systems both with gravity flow to my house in case of power outage. And a generator just in case its extended. I have two 2500 gal storage tanks at one time piped water was 8 miles away its now 500 feet away from the edge of my land but I'm not in the water district and I cant afford it or pay there rates. California would dry up and blow away with out the massive state and federal water projects.

Our potable water comes from the Floridan Aquifer provided by the local water company, my garden uses the Biscayne Aquifer which starts about 10 inches underground but is too shallow for consumption or bathing.

South Fork of the Licking River. I don't drink it very often. Too much haloacetic acid.
