Is there a cure for road rage?
I have never drug anyone out of their car and beat them down but I have been very tempted! On my way home from work today I got stuck behind every idiot in the state. That last one almost pushed me over the edge. I think I might need therapy or something, lol. I bet a trip to the desert will help.

You're not the only one. I've got a really short fuse when it comes to idiot drivers. Today was especially bad and I remember being infuriated over some jackwagon driving 35 in a 55 for nearly 20 miles. Than I get behind a line of cars following a tractor. None of them realize that it's acceptable to pass him. To make matters worse some lady has to come to a complete stop before making a left, no stop light or stop sign.
There's hardly anything more stressful than driving amongst morons imo.

Hardly anyone on the road these days has manners......pull out right in front of you and make you hit the brakes when there is nobody behind you, then turn in 500 feet.
They forget what a turn signal is for. Risk their lives, your life, and the people in the oncoming lane when they pass in a "no passing zone" just to make it someplace 10 seconds sooner. Can't pull over when they can't do the speed limit, and there is 20 cars lined up behind them. So busy texting, applying make-up, or eating a double-bacon-cheeseburger that they run people off of the road. And what angers me more than anything - driving out in the beautiful countryside here, and see some a$$wipe throw a McDonald's family meal bag out the window with all of the drink cups and all as he's going down the road. |

I still think about the James Bond style car with Missiles under the head lights, or a garbage truck modification that could lift the car and put it down behind you...

Reminds me of the story about a fisherman in a boat on a river. Another boat comes floating down the river right towards him with a man sitting in it. The man's boat bumps the fishermans boat so th fisherman starts screaming at the guy about being an idiot and not changing course. An hour later another boat comes down the river right towards him with no one in it. Again the boat bumps the fisherman's boat and moves on down the river. The fisherman thinks little of it.
It's rarley the act we get mad about in traffic, but rather the failed expectation. Road rage doesn't do anything to help and has negative effects on your health. Everyone get's irked and Scotto's list is a very good one. Kirby's solution is a good one.
