Update on Bastrop Fire!

Over 900 homes burned, dead people, dead dogs, and cattle dead everywhere! Only 15% contained, and north winds are coming! Bad, bad situation! It jumped the Colorado River in 3 spots and spending rapidly! This info from my firefighter buddy just an hour ago! 4 subdivisions gone! Please pray for relief, and a miracle!

I can't imagine the how everyone there is dealing with it. I've seen hurricanes, blizzards, floods, and tornados, but none of them really destroys things as completely as a fire like that.

Yes Josh, it is bad! They have sent all our firefighters back to our hometowns, cause of the threat this week! I went through there today, it looked like horrible! I mean horrible! I saw over 100 US Forestry trucks today, and there are firefighters from every state exempt Hawaii!! It is really a disaster!
