Went Salmon fishing the other day

Went salmon fishing the other day and in spite of having my eyes on the gravel bars for most of the day I still managed to catch twenty some salmon, mostly Kings and a couple Cohos. I only took a couple of pics, was too busy but thought I would share one of them here. Ok, so I'm bragging...

Cannon, that is a beauty! Are you catch and release or making them dinner?

I would be smoking those faster than cheech and chong with a blunt .

Mud Hawk, two of the ones I kept still had nice bright flesh and I am going to grill them. The other ones I kept were a tad past their prime and on the down slope, those I am going to have smoked. Most were too old and too far gone to do anything with so I just let them go. I did save some eggs, going to make caviar tonight.

longtimefree- I watched the gravel bars pretty close through the day but nothing. I had high hopes because a lot of the river was down to bed rock with gravel exposed along almost the whole length, and it was an area known to have a lot of indians but nada. I have to say though, I had a lot of distractions all day!
