East Texas Driving

My wife and I just did a turn around visit to Longview from Round Rock, 12 hours later we find ourselves home again and drinking heavily. We took 79 to Henderson 571 loop to 322 to Longview. Man I had and the key word is Had a big problem with EAST TEXAS DRIVERS. On our return trip home I had time to reflect on the cause and effect. Its not the fact that East Texas drivers were that much more Rude and Inconsiderate. Austin Metroplex have considerably more Inconsiderate Drivers than Longview ever thought of having. Its the fact They have fewer lanes to deal with and My options were limited. So forgive Me East Texas Folks,ya'll have no clue what was coming out of my mouth. In reality I am impressed with the traffic Ya'll have to deal with, what with all the Trucks and Patient People Ya'll have to deal with, that You can keep your Sanity at all.

I live between Longview and Marshall and I know exactly what you are talking about it is terrible. When I left east Texas back in 1990 for the Navy people on tow lane roads would pull onto the shoulder and get out of your way if they were driving slow. Now they just block you going a big 45 mile an hour on a 60 mph road. Yep Longview is full of rude azz drivers my friend.
